After receiving payments (i.e. revenue) from your customers, your funds will be added to your Mollie balance and thereafter transferred to your bank account. This is referred to as 'settlement' or 'payout'.
When will I receive my first payout?
Your are eligible for receiving payouts after we’ve reviewed and approved your account. Next to this, only two steps remain:
- Add your API key to your webshop
- Add a bank account to your balance. Mollie has to verify and approve the account before you can select it to receive payouts on.
How often do I receive payouts?
By default, you will receive payouts weekly on Wednesdays. You can always change the day you receive payouts and frequency of payouts in your Mollie Dashboard, via Balance > Settings:
The options are:

Automated payouts
All funds in your available balance are paid out following the frequency chosen below- Every business day
- Weekly on a business day of your choice
- Once a month (first business day of the month)

Revenue Day payouts
Each payout contains your revenue of one single day. Payouts are planned for each business day

Manual payouts
Request a payout for the next business day via the dashboard (Balance page) or Mollie app
When is my next payout and what amount will I receive?
In your Mollie Dashboard and App under Balance you will find:
- Available balance: These funds will be paid out and can be used for refunds
- Pending balance: These funds are temporarily held by Mollie. Find more info here
- Estimated next payouts: This is a schedule showing when you receive what amount. This combines your payout frequency, your pending balance and (when funds are added to) your available balance.
Or find the information whenever there is something affecting or blocking your payouts. Possible reasons for a delayed payout include:
- The payout date is a bank holiday; you’ll be paid on the next business day
- Your available balance is below the minimum payout amount. You’ll receive your money on the next payout date as long as you're balance is more than €5 or the equivalent in your payout currency.
- Your account is being reviewed by our team. If this is the case, you’ll be informed via email and in your Mollie Dashboard. Make sure to submit all needed documents according to the guidelines outlined in What documents do I need to set up my Mollie account?
Do I incur any costs for receiving payouts?
Every merchant at Mollie can receive payouts for free. This applies to the following payout frequency options:
- Monthly payouts
- Weekly payouts
- Revenue Day payouts
For the other options, the following pricing applies, charged when you process less than €500,000 (or converted equivalent) per year:
- Up to 5 payout: Free
- After 5 payouts: €0,25 per payout
You can find the exact pricing applied to you in your dashboard in Settings > Subscriptions
Organisation exemptions:
Your organisation will be completely exempted from any charge for payouts.
