With the Mollie mobile app, you can receive push notifications about activity on your Mollie account. You can choose to receive notifications for the following:
- New payments
- New payouts
- Expiring orders
- Expiring authorisations
- Marketing and promotions
What you need to know in advance
We advise that you enable push notifications for the best experience when using the Mollie App as a two-factor authentication (2FA) device.
Enabling push notifications
- In the Mollie App, tap on Browse > Notifications.
- Tap the toggle to turn on/off a specific notification.
To receive push notifications, you should also allow notifications for the Mollie App in the general settings of your device. Find out more about changing notification permissions for iOS or Android.
I’m not receiving push notifications
If you’re not receiving push notifications from the Mollie App, you can try the following:
- Check the app version: Ensure you have the latest version of the Mollie app installed. Updates often include fixes for issues like notification problems.
- Log back in: Sometimes the simplest solutions work best. Try logging out of the app and then logging back in.
- Review your device settings: Navigate to your device’s general settings and check that notifications for the Mollie app are enabled. If you need guidance on adjusting notification permissions, look at the instructions for iOS and Android users.
- Run a troubleshooting test: If you've completed those steps but still aren't receiving notifications, go to the Mollie app, click on “Browse > Notifications”, and select the "?" icon to run a troubleshooting test. This test checks your device settings, permissions, app notification settings, and connectivity with our push notification service. If it fails, you can use the "report to support" function for further assistance from our support team.
