How to enable Bizum as a payment method

Prerequisites

To offer Bizum to your customers, you need a Spanish business bank account that is supported by Bizum. You can check the list of supported banks on the Bizum website.

 

Getting started

Follow these steps to enable Bizum:

  1. Contact your bank to activate Bizum for your account.
  2. Ask your bank to configure it for PSP ID 31734 CHECKOUT_BIZUM.
  3. Your bank will provide you with a merchant ID (also known as FUC) and a terminal ID.
  4. Share these details with us so we can complete the onboarding on our end.

Estimado/a [Nombre del contacto o Banco],

Me pongo en contacto con ustedes para solicitar la configuración del PSP ID 31734 CHECKOUT_BIZUM para nuestra cuenta, con el fin de habilitar el método de pago Bizum a través de Mollie Checkout.

Para completar el proceso de activación con Mollie, necesitamos que nos proporcionen los siguientes datos:

  • Merchant ID (Bizum MIT): Identificador de comerciante proporcionado por Bizum.
  • Terminal ID: Identificador que se utiliza para distinguir la terminal o el punto de venta a través del cual se está realizando la transacción (específico para PSP Mollie Checkout) proporcionado por Bizum.

What happens next?

Once you've received your merchant ID and terminal ID from your bank, share them with us through your Mollie contact or by contacting our support team. We'll finalize the setup on our end and let you know when Bizum is ready to use.
