iDEAL might be disabled as a payment method in your Organization due to a few different reasons. Here are the steps you can follow to troubleshoot the issue:
1. Check verification requirements: ensure that all necessary documents and information have been submitted for verification. This includes identification documents, bank account details, and website information. You can read more about it here.
2. Activate payment methods: make sure the payment methods are activated in your Mollie Dashboard. You can do this by logging in to your Web App > Organization settings > Profiles > and checking the status of your payment methods. If iDEAL is disabled, toggle the switch to enable it.
3. The payment methods iDeal and/or In3 might also be disabled if you have linked a personal bank account to your Mollie account. To use these payment methods for transactions, you must connect a business bank account instead. You can find more information on why this is required on iDEAL's website.
Note: if you connect your business bank account instead of a personal bank account in your settings, it might take some time before iDEAL is enabled in your Organization.
How do I add a business bank account?
Please follow the steps below to add a new bank account to your Mollie Dashboard.
- Log in to your Mollie Dashboard.
- Click on the company name in the top left corner.
- Go to Organization settings > Bank account.
- Click Add new bank account.
- Enter your bank account details.
- Click Verify bank account.

Select a payment method to make a verification payment.
- If you choose to use bank transfer, you have to make a transfer of €0,01 to our account.
We’ll verify your bank account details, and inform you by email when it’s approved. You then need to select the bank account you want to use to receive payouts. Please note that the business bank account you are using for iDEAL must be verified and match the name of your business (company).
