You can add your Mollie Business Account debit card to Apple Wallet or Google Wallet and pay contactlessly — at any terminal that accepts Apple Pay or Google Pay.
Note: This feature is only available for the cardholder of a Mollie Business Account debit card. You can only add your own card to your wallet — not cards belonging to other team members. Apple Wallet requires an iPhone or Apple Watch; Google Wallet requires an Android device.
Important: You must start the process from within the Mollie app. Adding your Mollie card by searching for it directly inside the Apple Wallet or Google Wallet apps is not supported.
How do I add my card to Apple Wallet?
- Open the Mollie app on your iPhone.
- Go to Cards and tap the card you want to add.
- Tap Add to Apple Wallet.
- Authenticate with Face ID or Touch ID when prompted.
- Follow the on-screen steps to complete the setup.
Once the card is added, you'll see Added to Apple Wallet on your card detail screen. You can now pay anywhere you see the Apple Pay or contactless symbol at checkout.
Tip: The first time you open the app with an active card that isn't in your wallet yet, you may see a prompt to add it automatically. Tap Add to Apple Wallet in that prompt to get started.
How do I add my card to Google Wallet?
- Open the Mollie app on your Android device.
- Go to Cards and tap the card you want to add.
- Tap Add to Google Wallet.
- Authenticate with your biometrics when prompted.
- Follow the on-screen steps to complete the setup.
Once the card is added, you'll see Added to Google Wallet on your card detail screen.
How do I check if my card is already in my wallet?
Open the Mollie app, go to Cards, and tap your card. If your card is already in your wallet, you'll see Added to Apple Wallet (iPhone) or Added to Google Wallet (Android) on the card detail screen. No action is needed.
How do I remove my card from a digital wallet?
You can remove your Mollie card directly from the Apple Wallet or Google Wallet app on your device — this does not affect your Mollie card itself.
- Apple Wallet: Open the Wallet app, tap your Mollie card, tap the More button (•••), then tap Remove Card.
- Google Wallet: Open the Google Wallet app, tap your Mollie card, tap the More button (⋮), then tap Remove card from wallet.
Troubleshooting
"Cannot add card to Apple Wallet" — Face ID or Touch ID is not enabled You need biometrics enabled on your device to add a card to Apple Wallet. Go to your iPhone Settings > Face ID & Passcode (or Touch ID & Passcode) and enable it, then try again. You can also go to Settings > Security in the Mollie app.
"Cannot add card to Apple Wallet" — other error This is usually a temporary issue. Wait a moment and try again. If the problem continues, contact Mollie support.
"Cannot add card to Google Wallet" — biometrics not enabled You need biometrics enabled on your device to add a card to Google Wallet. Go to your Android device's Settings > Security and enable fingerprint or face unlock, then try again.
"Cannot add card to Google Wallet" — other error This is usually a temporary issue. Wait a moment and try again. If the problem continues, contact Mollie support.
The "Add to Apple Wallet" or "Add to Google Wallet" button is not showing Check that you are viewing your own card (not a team member's card) and that the card is active. The button is only available to the cardholder. If the card status is still being set up, wait a few moments and refresh.
I tried to add my card from inside the Apple Wallet or Google Wallet app and it didn't work Adding your Mollie card from within the Apple Wallet or Google Wallet apps is not supported. You must open the Mollie app, go to your card, and tap Add to Apple Wallet or Add to Google Wallet from there.
