Processing Payments through the Tap app

Processing payments through the Tap app is straightforward and can be done in various ways. You can either process payments directly through the app or via an integration setup.

 

Standalone

Besides an integrated setup, the Tap app allows you to process payments initiated directly from your device. To do this, ensure you've enabled this feature following these steps:

  1. Open the Tap app.
  2. Click on “New Payment.”
  3. Enter your amount.
  4. (Optional) Enter a description.
  5. Click on “Charge.”
  6. Tap the card.

By following these instructions, you can effortlessly process transactions directly from your Tap app.
 

API Integrated

You can use the same API integration for the Tap app as you do for the general Mollie POS integration. Processing payments via API integration involves initiating a payment from another device, such as through SaaS integration or a cash register system.

App-to-App (Intent)

With app-to-app integration, payments are initiated through a mobile (ordering) application on the same device. This method enables a seamless transition from your partner app to the Tap app and back, ensuring a smooth and successful payment process.
