The Tap app offers a variety of settings to manage payments and reports. Here is how to access the settings:
- Open the Tap app.
- Click on the settings button in the upper right corner.
- Enter the pincode.
From here you can:
- Start / end shifts: Users can start or end shifts using the corresponding buttons. Payments collected during a shift will be aggregated in a report.
- Check the Payment history of the device
- Access the Reports overview which contains all your end-of-day reports
You can also enable / disable the following settings:
- Payment creation on device: This toggle allows you to enable / disable the option to create payments on this device
- End-of-day reporting: this toggle allows you to enable / disable the end-of-day reports which are generated when a shift ends.
- Tipping settings: Here you can enable or disable tipping and customise the default percentages / tipping options that you want to display to your customers.
- Display name: Customise the name of your terminal to easily distinguish devices. The device name is displayed on your Dashboard in the overview of your terminals.
