How do I set up the Tap app?

Activating the Tap app can be done within 30 seconds. All you need is the Tap app and a QR code which you can retrieve from the dashboard. Download the app here.


Retrieving a QR code:

  1. In the Mollie Dashboard, navigate to “Point-of-Sale" of follow this link.
  2. Click on “Add Terminal” on the top right corner of the screen, then select “Activate Tap app”.
  3. Choose the profile you want to process payments with and the features you want to make available on your mobile device
  4. Click on "Continue".
  5. The QR code will be displayed on your screen. Alongside the QR code you will find a 20 digits set-up code that you can type in if you cannot scan the QR code with your device

 

Activating the Mollie Terminal app:

  1. In the Tap app, click on “Start setup”.
  2. Scan the QR code in your dashboard with the Tap app, or type in the set-up code
  3. Allow the required permissions.
  4. Click “Next”; your device will complete the setup.
