This guide provides information for partners on how to use the Terminal Management feature within the Mollie dashboard. It covers who can use the feature, how to enable it, the information available, and how to manage customer terminals.
Who can use Terminal Management?
Connect for Platforms customers with the correct permissions can utilize Terminal Management. These permissions are:
- terminals.read: Allows viewing of the merchant's point-of-sale terminals and transactions.
- terminals.write: Enables management of the merchant's point-of-sale terminals.

How to access the terminals of my customers
To enable Terminal Management, ensure you have the required permissions mentioned above. Follow these steps to access it:
- Navigate to 'Clients' in your dashboard: https://my.mollie.com/dashboard/partners/clients
- Select a client to access 'Client Details' (click on the merchant).
- Go to 'Terminals' to view the customer's terminal list.
Information available on customer terminals
The Terminal Management feature provides the following information:
- View all customer terminals.
- View detailed information for each terminal.
- View transaction history for each terminal.
Managing customer terminals
You can perform the following management actions on customer terminals:

Rename Terminal:
- Go to Terminal Details and click 'Rename'.
- Go to Terminal Details and click 'Rename'.

Remote Restart:
- Click 'Manage' and then 'restart'.
- Click 'Manage' and then 'restart'.

Activate/Deactivate Terminal:
- Click 'Manage' and then 'Activate/Deactivate terminal'.
- Click 'Manage' and then 'Activate/Deactivate terminal'.

Migrate Terminal:
- Click 'Manage' and then 'Migrate'.
- Select the destination organization.
- Select the destination profile.
- Click 'Migrate'.
- Migration will begin once the device connects to the internet.
- Note: Migration is only available if the destination customer has granted the correct permissions and the profile has POS active.

Migrate Terminal from Partner Organization to Client:
- Go to 'Browse' -> 'point of sale'.
- Select the terminal you wish to migrate.
- Click 'migrate'.
- Select the destination organization and profile.
