When you close your account, all data related to your organisations will be permanently deleted. For this reason, you may want to export your invoices and reports as you won’t be able to access them once you close your account.
What you need to know in advance
You don’t need to delete your account to remove an organisation. Please contact our Support team if you want to remove an organisation without deleting your account.
Closing your Mollie account
- Go to your Mollie Dashboard.
- Click on the downwards arrow next to your Mollie ID and click Account settings.
Click Close account.
- Under Reason, explain why you want to close your account.
- Under Current password, enter your password.
- Click Close.
You’ll receive an email within 3 working days to confirm that we’ve closed your account.
What will happen to my remaining balance?
Provided you’ve finished your account set-up, we’ll arrange a final payout of your remaining balance to your bank account as soon as possible. If you received payments using non-guaranteed payment methods like Klarna, credit and debit cards, or SEPA direct debit, we may need to hold your funds until their liability period expires.
