With our multi-currency payout feature, you can accept payments and receive payouts in the same currency. Based on your location, a primary currency is selected for your account, and you can add up to 11 additional currencies for payouts. Currencies that you add to your account will be settled like-for-like. If a payment is made in a currency that is not added to your account, it will automatically be converted to your primary currency before being paid out.
We offer payouts in the following currencies:
- Euro (EUR)
- British pound (GBP)
- Swedish krona (SEK)
- Australian dollars (AUD)
- Canadian dollars (CAD)
- Czech koruna (CZK)
- Danish krone (DKK)
- Hungarian florint (HUF)
- Norwegian krone (NOK)
- Polish zloty (PLN)
- Swiss franc (CHF)
- US dollars (USD)
Who is eligible?
To be eligible for multi-currency payouts, you must meet the following criteria:
- You must receive high transaction volumes in any of the eligible currencies above.
- You are eligible for Mollie volume pricing.
- You must have an active IBAN bank account or BBAN+ Sort Code in this additional currency.
- The bank account must be registered in your company’s name.
If you meet the first two criteria, you can enable multi-currency payouts in your Mollie dashboard. If not, but you believe multi-currency payouts are right for your company, speak to your Customer Success Manager (CSM) about your options.
What currency will be used for fees, refunds and invoices?
When you add additional balances for multi-currency payouts, transaction fees will be charged in the currency of the original transaction. Refunds and chargebacks will also be processed in the original currency of the transaction. However, your invoices will still be processed in your primary currency. In the invoice, you can find a specification of costs per payout currency you have added.
