What should I do in case of a suspected fraudulent payment?
- Gather all available information about the transaction. This includes the merchant name, the amount, the date and time, and the transaction ID from your account overview.
- Contact our support team immediately. This allows us to investigate the transaction and take any necessary security measures on your account as quickly as possible.
- Report the incident to the Fraudehelpdesk. This is the central Dutch helpline for fraud, where you can register the issue and receive advice on further steps.
- File a report with the Dutch police. The Fraudehelpdesk may advise you on this process, and an official police report is often required for further investigation and for any potential insurance claims.
