How can I create a debit card for my Mollie Business Account?

If you have an open and active Mollie business account you will see the option to create a virtual debit card via the Cards page in the Mollie dashboard or mobile app. We do not yet support the issuing of a physical card.

Only the registered account holder of the Mollie business account can issue a debit card, but they can do this for other members of the organisation by invitation.

How do I set up a debit card?

1. Log in to your Mollie dashboard or mobile app
2. Go to the Cards page
3. Click Create card
4. Select the account to which the card should be linked
5. Select the Card holder (which should only be you)
6. Write a card name
7. Set a monthly spending limit for the card
8. Review the details and then confirm the action using the mobile app

Once complete, your virtual card will appear in the overview of the Cards page and be ready for use.

How do I set up a debit card for another member of my organisation?

1. Log in to your Mollie dashboard or mobile app
2. Go to the Cards page
3. Click Create card
4. Select the account to which the card should be linked
5. Under cardholder, select invite team member
6. Enter the email address of your team member
7. Write a card name
8. Set a monthly spending limit for the card
9. Review the details and then confirm the action using the mobile app

Once complete, your team member’s virtual card will appear in the overview of the Cards page. Your team member will receive an email informing them that they can create their Mollie debit card and they should follow the link in the email and complete the registration and one-time setup before they are able to use the card.
