How can I download account statements and other documents for my Mollie business account?

You can view your transactions and download account statements, annual statements, and a proof of account ownership for your Mollie business account from your Mollie Dashboard. Some of these are also available in the Mollie app.

What you need to know in advance

  • In the Mollie app, you can only download account statements, and only as a PDF. Annual statements and the proof of account ownership are only available in the Mollie Dashboard.
  • Your account must be active to download a proof of account ownership.

Downloading an account statement

  1. In your Mollie Dashboard, go to Reports, then under Business Accounts select Statements. You can also get here from Accounts, by selecting an account and choosing More > Statements.
  2. Under Custom export, select the account you want a statement for.
  3. Choose a time period. Use one of the quick options — Current month to date, Last 3 full months, Last 6 full months, or Select year — or enter a Start date and End date.
  4. Under Export as, choose a format: CSV, PDF, CAMT.053, CODA 2.6, or MT940.
  5. Click Export statement.

The statement downloads to your device. Pending transactions aren't included.

Downloading an annual statement

  1. Go to Reports, then under Business Accounts select Statements.
  2. Under Annual statements, find the year you need.
  3. Click Download PDF.

Your annual statement shows the balance on 1 January and 31 December for all Mollie business accounts linked to your organisation, plus an overview of fees and any interest earned. You can use it for your annual accounts and tax return.

Downloading a proof of account ownership

  1. Go to Reports, then under Business Accounts select Statements.
  2. Under Proof of account ownership, click Download PDF.

This is a letter confirming that you hold your Mollie business account, including your business details, IBAN, and BIC. You might need it if a third party — like another bank — asks you to confirm the account is yours, for example when updating your details.
