Can a business or minor use Klarna?

No, businesses and minors cannot use Klarna to make a payment. When a customer pays for an order with Klarna, they are asked to provide personal details like their date of birth. Businesses do not have these personal details, and so cannot proceed with the payment. Klarna also does not accept payments from customers who are considered minors according to Klarna's terms and conditions.

Good to know

  • You can find Klarna's Terms and Conditions on their website: The Netherlands | Germany | Belgium | France | Austria  | Finland
  • At the moment, Klarna products via Mollie are only available to customers in the EEA. If you activate any Klarna payment methods, your customers in the UK will not be able to pay with these methods. Stay tuned—we are working on making Klarna available for UK customers soon.
