If you create a direct debit payment before 16:00, the bank processes the payment the next business day. If you create a payment after 16:00, the amount is debited after 2 business days. On the first business day after the date of the direct debit, the status of the transaction in your Mollie Dashboard changes to Paid. We will pay you the amount after 10 business days.
A direct debit payment knows different statuses and important moments. They are listed below:

Let your customer know what amount you are going to debit and when. You can do this, for instance, via email, text message or a letter. |
1 - 2 business days before the direct debit |
Create the payment. Payments submitted before 16:00 are processed the same day. Payments submitted after 16:00 will be processed the next business day. |

A mandate that has not been used for 36 months can no longer be used. |

The day of the direct debit refers to the day on which money is debited from your customer’s bank account.
