Vouchers are a prepaid payment method that can be used for both online and in-store purchases.
This guide will lead you through the activation process for in-store payments through our Mollie terminals. If you want to enable vouchers for online payments / your website, please follow the instructions available in this article.
Activating vouchers allows you to accept popular Belgian voucher products—such as Gift, Eco, Meal, and Sports & Culture vouchers—on Mollie Fixed, Mobile and TAP terminals.
Currently, Mollie supports Edenred, Monizze and Pluxee.
In a nutshell
You must be eligible for point-of-sale payments and have the Point-of-sale payment method enabled via the Mollie Web app (Dashboard)
You need to establish a direct contract with the owner of the voucher brand(s) you wish to accept (e.g., Edenred, Monizze, Pluxee).
Step 1: activating vouchers on Mollie
To start accepting vouchers, you need to enable the payment method on your Dashboard:
Navigate to "Settings" in your Dashboard and go to 'In-Person Payments'.
Locate the Vouchers section to activate your preferred individual voucher providers.
Click on "Activate"

A pop-up will appear on your screen. This pop-up contains important details that you need to provide to the voucher brand to complete the activation of the payment method.
Copy the credentials displayed in this pop-up. Click on "Activate" again to complete the activation request on Mollie.
Step 2: activating vouchers with the brands
Once you have enabled vouchers on your Mollie Dashboard, you need to have a contract with the voucher brand itself and provide them specific details to link your terminal to the voucher brand.
Edenred
Go to Edenred's website (example for Belgium) or contact Edenred
Register as a merchant and provide them with the Merchant ID and Sub-merchant ID displayed at the previous step in your Mollie Dashboard
Monizze
Go to Monizze's website (example for Belgium) or contact Monizze by email at shop@monizze.be.
Register as a merchant and provide them with the PSP ID displayed at the previous step in your Mollie Dashboard
Pluxee
- Prepare the following information:
- Name of your point of sale
- Location of your point of sale
- VAT number
- The Mollie PSP_ID that you retrieved from Step 1
- What kind of voucher products you would like to accept (Eco / Meal / Gift / Sport & Culture)
- Send an email to merchants.contracts.be@pluxeegroup.com
- State that you would like to accept Pluxee cards on your Mollie Terminal
- Provide the information above
Once you have provided these details to the brand, they will notify you when your onboarding is complete.
The voucher brand will then be activated automatically, and you can immediately start processing payments.
