What you need to know in advance
As part of your Mollie business account application, you need to provide us with the relevant tax information about your company.
If you are a limited company (B.V.) or a partnership (V.O.F.), we want to know the RSIN for Dutch companies and the Tax Information Number (TIN) for non-Dutch companies.
Where can I find my RSIN?
The RSIN (Rechtspersonen en Samenwerkingsverbanden Informatienummer) is a unique identification number used by the Dutch Tax Administration (Belastingdienst) to identify businesses, non-profit organisations, and other legal entities in the Netherlands.
Your RSIN can be found on official letters, tax assessments, and other correspondence from the Belastingdienst.
The RSIN is often included in extracts from the Dutch Chamber of Commerce (KvK).
If you are an authorised representative of the organisation, you may be able to find the RSIN on the MijnOverheid portal. This would involve logging in and accessing the organisation's information.
Where can I find my TIN?
If your company is not registered in the Netherlands, you need to enter the Tax Information Number (TIN) that is used in your tax residency.
Tax residency is the country where your business is managed, controlled, incorporated or treated as a resident for tax purposes under local law. Your business can have tax residency in more than one country. If unsure, please consult your tax adviser. Please list all countries where your business is tax resident and provide the Tax Identification Number (TIN) for each country. You can find general information about TINs on the OECD website.
