Your customers can pay automatically with Mollie Recurring. You set up a one-off or direct debit. With the first payment, you ask for permission for a direct debit. After your customer’s approval, you can let us know how much you want to collect at what time. We'll take care of the rest.
What do I use Mollie Recurring for?
You can use Mollie Recurring if customers take out a subscription with you or buy something on installment. In addition, you can use Mollie Recurring if you would like customers to make a deposit in advance.
Do you offer a subscription for a fixed amount per period? Then you can also use our Subscriptions API.
Which payment methods are suitable?
The first time, your customer pays through his or her favorite payment method. By doing this, the customer has given you permission for an automatic debit. Your customer uses one of the following payment methods for this:
- iDEAL
- Bancontact
- SOFORT
- EPS
- Belfius
- Credit card
- PayPal
Does your customer choose PayPal or credit card? Then future payments will be made via the same payment method. Does your customer choose one of the other payment methods? Then future payments will be made via SEPA direct debit.
Minimum and maximum amount
A minimum and maximum amount applies for a payment with recurring. This amount is equal to the minimum and maximum amount that applies to the recurring payment method: PayPal, credit card or SEPA direct debit.
