How do I enable two-factor authentication (2fa)?

Two-factor authentication is an extra layer of security when you log in to your Mollie account. You can choose to receive a one-time code from a text message or Authenticator app to verify your identity every time you log in.

 

What you need to know in advance

 

Enabling two-factor authentication

  1. In your Mollie Dashboard, click on the name of your organisation on the top left.
  2. Click on Account settings.
  3. Go to the tab Security.
  4. Enable the two-factor authentication method you prefer.
  5. Perform two-factor authentication to confirm.

 

Where do I find backup codes?

To find your two-factor authentication backup codes:

  1. In your Mollie Dashboard, click on the name of your account in the top left.
  2. Go to Account settings
  3. Go to the tab Security.
  4. Select Show codes.

 

Disabling two-factor authentication

  1. In your Mollie Dashboard, click on the name of your account in the top left.
  2. Click on Account settings.
  3. Go to the tab Security.
  4. Click on Remove next to an authentication method.
    • If you remove all authentication methods, 2fa will be disabled on your account entirely.
  5. Enter your password to confirm.

 

I no longer have access to a 2fa device
