How do I send/receive a transfer from/to my Mollie business account?

With the Mollie business account, you can send and receive SEPA transfers to/from other bank accounts. You can view and create transfers through the Accounts page in your Mollie dashboard or mobile app.

Outgoing transfers

  1. In your Mollie dashboard or mobile app, go to Accounts
  2. Select the account from which you want to send a transfer
  3. Click Send in the top right
  4. Enter the beneficiary’s account details, payment amount and reference (optional)
  5. If you want to schedule the payment for a future date, or make it a recurring payment, fill in the relevant details
  6. Click Continue to see a summary of transfer. At this stage you can still edit or cancel the proposed transfer
  7. Click Continue and then confirm the transfer using your Mollie mobile app

You will only be able to make an outgoing transfer in an amount up to the available balance of the selected account (for example, it is not possible for the account to have a negative balance). If the proposed transfer amount exceeds the available balance of the selected account, an error message will be returned.

Can I modify or cancel an outgoing transfer?

If you have sent an immediate outgoing transfer, it is not possible to modify or cancel the transfer once it has been confirmed.

To modify or cancel a scheduled or recurring transfer;

  1. In your Mollie dashboard or mobile app, go to Accounts
  2. Select the account from which the transfer is scheduled
  3. Select More > Scheduled transfers
  4. Select the transfer you want to modify or cancel
  5. Select Edit or Delete and confirm the action

Incoming transfers

  1. In your Mollie dashboard or mobile app, go to Accounts
  2. Select the account for which you want to view incoming transfers
  3. You will already see an overview of the most recent incoming and outgoing transactions on the selected account
  4. Click See all for a list of all transactions. You can then filter transactions using a number of parameters (amount, time period and type)
  5. Filter by Type > Credit to see incoming transfers only
  6. Click on the individual transaction to view more details about a specific transfer
