I’m a sole trader in the UK. What documents do I have to submit?

As a sole trader in the UK, your income is categorised under self-employment. You do not need to register your business with Companies House. However, for us to approve your Mollie account, we ask that you submit the following documents in the Mollie Dashboard:

What proof of address should I submit?

This will depend on the type of address you are using for your business. If you are using a trading address, you can submit a utility bill or bank statement where the trading address is clearly visible on the letterhead. These documents cannot be older than 3 months upon submission.

If you are using a residential address, you can submit a utility bill (no older than 3 months) or your last available HM Revenue & Customs Self Assessment tax return form. The information in this tax return form must not be older than 12 months.
