If you want to use Klarna in your Lightspeed webshop, you must activate the payment method in both your Mollie Dashboard and in Lightspeed. After orders have been made, it is necessary to mark each order separately as shipped. This is necessary to be eligible for the seller protection that Klarna offers.

How do I activate Klarna in Lightspeed?

  1. In your Mollie Dashboard, go to Settings >> Website profiles >> Payment methods
  2. Activate ‘Klarna Pay Later’ and tap ‘Save’
  3. Login in Lightspeed
  4. Tap ‘Settings’
  5. Go to ‘Payment providers’
  6. Depending on your choice, tap ‘Lightspeed Payments’ or ‘Mollie V2’
  7. Activate ‘Klarna Pay Later’ and tap ‘Save’

How do I process a Klarna order?

To be eligible for the seller protection that Klarna offers, it is important to mark each order separately as shipped. You will do this in your Mollie Dashboard after the order has been sent. After you have done this, Mollie will pay you out with a delay of 5 business days. Please follow these steps:

  1. In ‘Orders’ in Lightspeed, click on the order number of the order you would like to ship
  2. Below 'Complete order on Mollie Dashboard', click on 'here'
  3. Tap ‘ship’ for each Klarna order
  4. Go back to Lightspeed and click on ‘Orders’
  5. Locate the same order and click on the order number to open it
  6. Click ‘Mark as Shipped’ to complete the order

Does your order consist of multiple order lines that will be shipped separately? Then you can also mark each individual order line as shipped. You will then be paid out per order line.
