Some banks within the SEPA area charge extra costs if a SEPA Direct Debit transaction fails or if the consumer reverses the transaction. Dutch and Belgian banks do not charge extra costs. The bank charges us with these costs because the transaction goes via Mollie. We charge the costs to you. You will see the costs on your invoice.
How much are the costs?
The amount that some banks charge is € 4,50. We charge these costs on top of our normal rates of failed transactions and chargebacks. We charge € 0,95 for a failed transaction and € 10,- for a chargeback.
