I’m a Mollie partner. What does the onboarding status of my customer mean?

When your customer makes a Mollie account, you have 2 options for checking the status of their onboarding and whether they can receive payments:

From either of these methods, you will receive a combination of the onboarding status and payment status:

Needs data and payments are not approved

Your consumer hasn’t submitted the required information in their Mollie Dashboard. To receive payments, they need to provide us with:

  • Company details
  • Information about stakeholders
  • Website details
  • Payment method selection

We may also ask for additional documents if the organisation is a charity or non-profit or is considered a high risk business. These additional documents include:

Needs data and payments are approved

Your customer’s business is considered low risk. They can start receiving payments after uploading the following in their Mollie Dashboard:

In review and payment are not approved

Your customer has submitted all the required information for their application. Because your customer’s business is considered high risk, we have not approved their payment methods yet. It will take more time for us to check their account details.

In review and payments are approved

Your customer has submitted all the required information and they can begin receiving payments. They will be able to receive payouts after we approve their account.

Completed and payments are approved

Your customer’s account is approved and they can receive payments and payouts.
