We do not receive the PayPal payments; you receive the customer's payment directly into your PayPal account which you set up in your Mollie dashboard. You can set the desired payout frequency via your PayPal account.

What does this mean for the status of the transaction in the Mollie Dashboard?

After the customer has successfully completed the payment, the status of the transaction in your Mollie Dashboard will be 'Paid'. The status will change to 'Paid out' as soon as your next settlement has been made and the transaction fees for the PayPal payments have been settled.
