Compare Mollie and Gambio statuses

Tip

Read Understand Mollie statuses for an overview of how Mollie statuses are related to Gambio statuses, and how communication between Mollie and Gambio takes place.

Gambio statuses are displayed in Gambio's order overview. Mollie statuses are displayed in your Mollie Dashboard. To view the Mollie statuses, follow these steps:

  1. Log in to your Mollie Dashboard.

  2. Go to Transactions > Payments.

  3. Search for the payment or order and check the status in the Status column.

If the statuses don't match, check whether payments are processing properly.

Check Mollie webhook notifications

To trigger payment and order status updates, Mollie sends webhook notifications to the Mollie for Gambio module. These notifications are saved in Gambio so that you can check whether any webhooks have failed.

To view the notifications, follow these steps:

  1. Log in to Gambio.

  2. Go to icon-puzzle-piece.png Modules > Modules-Center.

  3. Select Mollie from the module list.

  4. Select Edit.

  5. Scroll down to Notifications.

If a webhook notification states that a webhook was unsuccessful, check whether payments are processing properly.

Get the log files

Both Gambio and Mollie for Gambio keep a log of all Mollie-related activity that takes place. Use the logs to investigate the root cause of a problem.

  1. To access the mollie log file:

    1. Open your FTP client and log in to your Gambio web server.

    2. Go to [path_to_gambio_installation]/logfiles.

  2. To access admin and php-error-handler log files:

    1. Log in to Gambio.

    2. Go to Toolkit icon-wrench.png > Show logs.

The information provided in the logs should help you to understand which troubleshooting steps to take. We recommend that you share the log files with us whenever you contact support for assistance.

Check the release notes

Refer to Mollie for Gambio releases to check whether the issue was fixed in a newer version of Mollie for Gambio.

Before updating Mollie for Gambio, review Mollie for Gambio releases to ensure compatibility with your version of Gambio or third-party modules.

Check the API keys

Mollie ensures a secure connection to Gambio using API keys. Incorrect API keys can cause unprocessed payments, payment methods unavailability, or incorrect payment statuses.
