WooCommerce: Set up credit/debit cards

Tip

By default, Mollie Components and one-click payments are enabled in WooCommerce.

What you need to do in advance

Display selected credit/debit card issuers

  1. Log in to WooCommerce.

  2. Go to WooCommerce > Settings.

  3. Select the Mollie Settings tab.

  4. Select Edit next to credit/debit cards.

  5. Scroll down to Customize icons and select the Enable icons selector checkbox.

  6. Select the credit/debit card icons you want to display in your checkout.

  7. Save the changes.

Enable Mollie Components

  1. Log in to WooCommerce.

  2. Go to WooCommerce > Settings.

  3. Select the Mollie Settings tab.

  4. Select Edit next to credit/debit cards.

  5. Scroll down to the Enable Mollie Components checkbox and select it.

  6. Save the changes.

Style Mollie Components

  1. Log in to WooCommerce.

  2. Go to WooCommerce > Settings.

  3. Select the Mollie Settings tab.

  4. Select Mollie Components.

  5. Change the styling settings to suit your preferences.

  6. Save the changes.

Enable one-click payments

Important: Your sensitive customer data is safe

No sensitive credit/debit card details are stored in your WooCommerce store. All credit/debit card data is securely stored on Mollie servers.

  1. Log in to WooCommerce.

  2. Go to WooCommerce > Settings.

  3. Select the Mollie Settings tab.

  4. Select Advanced.

  5. Scroll down to the Store customer details at Mollie checkbox and select it.

  6. Save the changes.

Split payment authorisation and capture

Note

Split payment authorisation and capture is enabled by default.

To split payment authorisation and capture, follow these steps:

  1. Log in to WooCommerce.

  2. Go to WooCommerce > Settings.

  3. Select the Mollie Settings tab.

  4. Select Advanced.

  5. Select Authorize payments for later capture from the Placing payments on hold drop-down menu.

  6. Optional: To automatically capture payments when the status of an order changes from "On hold" to "Processing" or "Completed", select the Capture or void on status change checkbox.

  7. Save the changes.
