Set up Apple Pay Direct

What you need to do in advance

  • Ensure that Apple Pay Direct uses the correct payment processor:

    1. Go to Merchant Tools > Ordering > Payment Processors and verify that MOLLIE_ECOM_APPLEPAY_DIRECT is listed in the Processor ID column.

      If MOLLIE_ECOM_APPLEPAY_DIRECT is not listed, add it as a payment processor↗.

    2. Go to Merchant Tools > Ordering > Payment Methods and select MOLLIE_APPLE_PAY_DIRECT.

    3. Ensure that MOLLIE_ECOM_APPLEPAY_DIRECT is selected from the Payment processor drop-down menu.

Display the Apple Pay button

  1. Ensure that you have set up Apple Pay.

  2. Log in to Salesforce Commerce Cloud Business Manager.

  3. Open Select a site, and select a site from the list.

  4. Go to Merchant Tools > Mollie > Apple Pay Direct settings.

  5. Switch on the Enable toggle.

  6. Save the changes.

Specify required Apple Pay contact details

Specify the billing contact details↗ and shipping contact details↗ that customers have to supply when checking out.

  1. Log in to Salesforce Commerce Cloud Business Manager.

  2. Open Select a site, and select a site from the list.

  3. Go to Merchant Tools > Mollie > Apple Pay Direct settings.

  4. Select an option from the Required Billing Contact Fields drop-down menu.

  5. Select one or more of the options from the Required Shipping Contact Fields drop-down menu.

  6. Save the changes.

Style the Apple Pay Direct button

You can specify the type↗ and style↗ of the Apple Pay button, as well as the text that appears on the Total line of the Apple Pay payment sheet↗.

  1. Log in to Salesforce Commerce Cloud Business Manager.

  2. Open Select a site, and select a site from the list.

  3. Go to Merchant Tools > Mollie > Apple Pay Direct settings.

  4. Enter a name in the Merchant name field.

    The name is displayed on the payment sheet as Pay [merchant name].

  5. Select an option from the Cart button style drop-down menu.

  6. Select an option from the Cart button type drop-down menu.

  7. Save the changes.

Specify payment methods supported by Apple Pay Direct

Specify the payment capabilities↗ and card networks↗ that you support with Apple Pay Direct.

  1. Log in to Salesforce Commerce Cloud Business Manager.

  2. Open Select a site, and select a site from the list.

  3. Go to Merchant Tools > Mollie > Apple Pay Direct settings.

  4. Select one or more payment methods that you support with Apple Pay Direct from the Merchant capabilities drop-down menu.

  5. Select one or more card networks that you support with Apple Pay Direct from the Supported card networks drop-down menu

  6. Save the changes.

Specify your principle place of business

Apple Pay requires that you specify the two-letter ISO-3166 country code↗ of your principle place of business.

  1. Log in to Salesforce Commerce Cloud Business Manager.

  2. Open Select a site, and select a site from the list.

  3. Go to Merchant Tools > Mollie > Apple Pay Direct settings.

  4. Enter the code in the Merchant country code field.

  5. Save the changes.
