Magento is a popular e-commerce platform owned by Adobe. It’s currently offered in two software versions: the original Magento 1 and Magento 2, which offers more functionality. On 1 June 2020, Adobe has stopped offering technical support for Magento 1. This means that from that date, Adobe has stopped releasing security patches and functional updates for the older version. If you want to keep using Magento, you can switch to the newer Magento 2 or continue to use Magento 1 with support by Mage One.
Mage One has taken over from Adobe to provide security and functional updates for Magento 1 users. If you want to continue running your shop on Magento 1, we recommend signing up with Mage One via this link. For a monthly fee, you will receive all the required updates for Magento 1. As an official partner of Mage One, we will be supporting our payment plugin for Magento 1 regardless of your preferred payment method. Visit Mage One's FAQ for further details.
To keep running securely on Magento 1, make sure you’re using the latest stable version of Magento 1. This is Magento 1.9.4.4.
