Magento 2: Send second-chance emails

The Mollie module provides the option to send a second-chance email.

When you enable this feature, you can generate a payment link to send to customers, for example, by email or a messaging service.

The payment link takes customers directly to the checkout, giving them the opportunity to pay for their order even if something went wrong during their initial attempt.

You can also configure your store to automatically send second-chance emails after a certain amount of time.

  1. Log in to Magento 2.

  2. Go to Stores > Configuration.

  3. On the Configuration page, scroll to Mollie, click the arrow, and select Second-chance email.

  4. Select Yes from the Second-chance email drop-down menu.

  5. Optional: Select Yes from the Automatically send second-chance emails drop-down menu.

  6. Optional: In the Second chance email delay field, set the time in hours between the customer's initial checkout attempt and the second-chance email.

  7. Save the changes.
