Shopware 6 Plugin: Set up express payment options

Some payment methods offer an express payment option through a button that customers click to make their payment. This lets customers skip the full checkout flow, because their information is already securely stored by the payment method.

With the Mollie plugin, you can add the following express payment options:

  • Apple Pay Direct

What you need to do in advance

Display the Apple Pay button

You can display the Apple Pay button on your product listing and detail pages, as well as on your cart and Offcanvas cart pages.

  1. Log in to your Mollie Dashboard.

  2. Go to icon-shopware-settings.png Settings > Payment methods.

  3. Select Edit details in the Apple Pay pane.

  4. Ensure the Active toggle is switched on.

  5. Select Extension settings.

  6. Go to Payments and switch on the Enable Apple Pay Direct toggle.

  7. Save the changes.

Hide the Apple Pay button

When Apple Pay Direct is enabled, the Apple Pay button appears on your product listing and detail pages, as well as on your cart and Offcanvas cart pages.

You can hide the button from the listing pages or detail pages, as well as from your cart and Offcanvas cart pages.

  1. Log in to Shopware 6.

  2. Go to icon-shopware-extensions.png Extensions > My extensions.

  3. Open the Mollie Payments Icon containing three horizontal dots that usually opens a menu when clicked menu, and select Configure.

  4. Go to the Payments section.

  5. Deselect the relevant pages from the Apple Pay Display restrictions drop-down menu:

    • Category pages

    • Product pages

    • Offcanvas cart

    • Cart page

  6. Save the changes.
