Salesforce: Select an API method

Select the appropriate Mollie API method in Salesforce Commerce Cloud for correct payment processing: Payments API for simple payments, Orders API for detailed orders.

You can set a default API method, or one for each individual payment method.

Each API method offers the following features:

Payments API

  • Refund a full or partial amount.

  • Change the details that are included in a payment's description in your Mollie Dashboard.

    Orders API

    • Refund a whole order or individual order items.

    • Mark a whole order or individual order items as shipped.

    • Change an order's expiry period.

      Note

      The Orders API is required for Klarna payment methods and vouchers.

      Select the default API method

      The default API method applies to all payment methods.

      1. Log in to Salesforce Commerce Cloud Business Manager.

      2. Open Select a site, and select a site from the list.

      3. Go to Merchant Tools > Mollie > Mollie General Settings.

      4. Select an API method from the Default method drop-down menu.

      5. Save the changes.

      Select individual payment method's API method

      Individual API method settings override the default setting.

      1. Log in to Salesforce Commerce Cloud Business Manager.

      2. Open Select a site, and select a site from the list.

      3. Go to Merchant Tools > Ordering > Payment methods.

      4. Select the payment method's ID.

      5. Scroll down to the Mollie section and select an API method from the Method drop-down menu.

      6. Save the changes.
