Salesforce: Test payment methods

Test your payment methods in Mollie for Salesforce by simulating various payment statuses.

Note

  • Use Mollie test credentials to test credit/debit cards.

  • Apple Pay Direct works only in a production environment and on Apple devices or Safari, but you can still test it using test mode.

  • Test Apple Pay Direct and the Bancontact QR code by making real payments, as they only work in live mode.

Switch to test mode

In test mode, Mollie simulates payments: no real money transfers occur.

  1. Log in to Salesforce Commerce Cloud Business Manager.

  2. Open Select a site, and select a site from the list.

  3. Go to Merchant Tools > Mollie > Mollie General Settings.

  4. Select Test from the Environment drop-down menu.

  5. Save the changes.

Make a test payment

  1. Make a test purchase in your Salesforce Commerce Cloud storefront site.

    While making payment, a selection dialogue appears, enabling you to test various payment statuses.

  2. Select a payment status and click Continue.

    This takes you to a page that provides information about the payment's status. For example, if you selected Paid, the page confirms a successful payment.

Test Apple Pay Direct

To check whether Apple Pay Direct works, you need to make a real payment using your Apple Wallet.

Note

Apple Pay Direct only works with the Safari browser and on devices that support Apple Pay.

  1. Log in to Salesforce Commerce Cloud Business Manager.

  2. Open Select a site, and select a site from the list.

  3. Go to Merchant Tools > Mollie > Mollie General Settings.

  4. Save the changes.

  5. Make a test purchase with Apple Pay Direct in your Salesforce Commerce Cloud storefront site.

Test the Bancontact QR code

To check whether the Bancontact QR code works, you need to make a real payment with your Bancontact application.

  1. Log in to Salesforce Commerce Cloud Business Manager.

  2. Open Select a site, and select a site from the list.

  3. Go to Merchant Tools > Mollie > Mollie General Settings.

  4. Select Live from the Environment drop-down menu.

  5. Save the changes.

  6. Make a test purchase with Bancontact QR code in your Salesforce Commerce Cloud storefront site.

  7. Select a payment status and click Continue.
