To approve a bank account for payouts, we have to check whether we have the correct account number and account holder's name. In most cases, we will also need to check if it is a business bank account.
Some banks (such as ING) do not immediately allocate the correct name to a new bank account. Instead, the bank account appears under a temporary name. It may take a few days before this information is updated and the actual account holder's name is visible in the banking system.
If you are using a new bank account that has a temporary account holder name, we advise that you wait to make a verification payment until your name and details are visible in your banking system. We will not be able to verify your bank account details if the temporary account holder name is in place.
